smell of summer...

cut grass, bike rides, pool side...all things that make summer great! love the feeling that this bike photo evokes. the couscous salad was a treat that my friend, kelli, made when we got together for a pool playdate (thank you kelli!!!) and the last image makes me excited for the fourth of july, which is very close to my birthday!! summer lovin' :)

i am always in search of new and pretty ways to display food for showers. these seem so sweet and perfect for such an occasion and the prices are reasonable too (ranging from $39 to $65)

tea time

this is some of the best tea from harney & son not only b/c of the delicious flavors but the precious tins they come in. i usually find these at my local starbucks but i have seen them in many high end groceries and specialty tea shops. i would like to recommend the winter white earl grey flavor for this chilly morning during texas' probably last cold snap!
